The mysterious KID water tower graffiti in New Jersey is no more
I took this photo last year and have been telling myself to go back with the drone to get an even closer photo. And now those dreams have been popped because I just found out that this longstanding abandoned water tower tagged by KID or PK KID has been demolished. :(
PK KID and his heaven spots
If you drive around in New Jersey long enough, you'll undoubtedly be greeted by PK KID. PK KID (or sometimes just KID) is well-known for his "heaven spots", tagging places that are often so high and so dangerous that if you fell you would surely die (that's sort of where that ridiculous name comes from).
Anyway, for years I've wanted to get a GOOD photo of this particular PK KID piece on a defunct water tower in Mercer County, New Jersey. He's got a number of pieces along this particular stretch of highway and it's always so crazy to think about what shenanigans must have gone down to even get up to one of these spots.
The most famous one of his (or hers!) is this water tower. I mean, look at it. No scaffolding. No ladder. How in the world did they get up there to do this? It's been there for years!
