Bobby Hundreds interviews Jim Gray of Acme Skateboards

I cannot believe that this interview only has 1600 views (at the time of this post). Jim Gray is the founder of Acme Skateboards and he sat down with Bobby Hundreds to talk about the history of the brand and to show off the insane near-perfect collection of Acme skateboards that Jim still has in boxes in his warehouse.

In case you missed it, The Hundreds and Acme recently collaborated on a collection that pays tribute to the grittier days of skateboard culture in Southern California. In the video above, you see Jim take out one of the better skateboard decks he made that consisted of a bunch of fast food garbage  and wrappers all piled on top of each other. A new and revised version of that same deck can be yours for $65. Should I buy it?

The Hundreds playing cards

Not sure how serious this tweet was, but if it holds any truth, it looks like The Hundreds is about to release a set of playing cards printed by USPCC (judging by the court cards).

Unfortunately, going by the preview images here, it doesn't look like there's much of a custom face card design. But either way, I'll probably pick these up.

UPDATE: Available now for $24. O_O

The Hundreds x Animaniacs

Bobby Hundreds has spoken about this failed collaboration before but I don't think until now has he ever posted any image from the collection. Over the years, The Hundreds have worked with everybody it seems and it's a bit odd that WB (or whatever parent company of the Animaniacs) have decided to kill this project. But I'm hoping that this reveal here, even if it's small, means that the talks are back on the table. This would be so cool to see as final product.

The new DeLorean has a new commercial

If you didn't hear, the DeLorean is being made again to almost exactly the same specs as the 1982 vehicle. The price is steep, at about 100K each, so it's really just for diehard DeLorean fans who grew up wanting one because of BTTF.

And now, with the new car, there comes a new commercial featuring Bobby Hundreds' own DeLorean.

And this version below features one of my favorite pieces from The Hundreds -- their custom key.
